Refugio’s Oasis
Self Help Graphic & Art’s iconic Virgen de Guadalupe greeted visitors at the garden’s entrance.
Refugio’s Oasis was build on May 2022 by artists Monica Perez, Martha Carrillo and Joan Zamora. The garden was part of WE RISE, a collaborative project that supports health and healing across Los Angeles County by investing in local organizations, artists, and leaders, and Self Help Graphics & Art.
